The March Book Frenzy with eNovel Authors at Work is a fantastic bloghop designed to help promote 8 writers and build their social media platforms. It will also help those participating meet other writers and readers too. It's a win-win hop! Click on the banner above and join the fun.
See the line-up of fantastic covers on the banner? I must choose which one appeals to me the most and tell you why. I haven't read any of these books nor do I know the authors. Here's the link to larger images of the covers and their blurbs.
And these are the brave authors who are lined up for us:
My choice:
A passionate romantic-suspense.
She
Belongs To Me is a tightly woven tale of love, possession, and
concealed histories, 'She Belongs to Me' follows a man who finds his
wife unconscious, clinging to life. Was it a suicide attempt, or a
sinister force from her former life? To learn the answer, he must go
back to the beginning, five years ago when he met his wife and learned
of her tragic past.
She
Belongs to Me is book one of The Southern Suspense Series. From there,
all the stories have a slight connection to each other, so you can
continue the journey and meet different protagonists with different
issues and tragedies to overcome. Every story has a mystery, there's
always a gentle message, and above all, there's always romance and
suspense.
The color was the first thing that drew my attention to this cover. Blues, violets, and similar hues are my favorites. It also fits the atmosphere of a suspense novel. It's mysterious, hinting at darkness, but not fully there. The title, SHE BELONGS TO ME, is strong and suggests something more sinister than mere possession of the woman. I like the inclusion of the series name on the darker blue strip. It's a catchy name, too, with the three S's. The font is clear, and the white stands out nicely against the blue. The model on the cover is lovely even with her hair mussed and glancing furtively to one side. It's sharp and simple. And while we know better than to judge a book by its cover, the cover does influence my initial opinion and whether I'll pick it up or not. This one I'd pick up first out of the group.

Hi Christine .. the blue cover does stand out doesn't it ..
ReplyDeleteI also like the look of "The Merry Go Round" - it's clean and white .. and stands out ..
Cheers and enjoy the blogfest .. Hilary
What a cool idea for a hop! :)
ReplyDeleteThe blurbs were in tiny text show I didn't read them, so based only on the cover I was drawn to Quintspinners. It made me think of an old classic movie, but I can't remember the name of it.

ReplyDeleteYour March Book Frenzy is cooking! Congratulations on that.
ReplyDeleteShe Belongs to Me certainly has a compelling plot!
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone. This is a really neat bloghop. And some great prizes! :)
ReplyDeleteChristine, your site is beautifully laid out. I love the way you have all of your novels' covers displayed in the right hand side bar. This hop is so much fun! Thanks for being a part of it BTW, I a drawn to Lorrie Farrelly's cover, because of it's rich red tones that stand out even at thumbnail size.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine,
ReplyDeleteSuch a brave line up. It must of been a tough choice. And no, I wont go into a rant about blog hops! :)
Take care,
Gary :)
What a cool bloghop! The cover for She Belongs to Me is definitely eye-catching...
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to do this blogfest too Christine, but the instructions were too complicated. It should be great for published authors. Some of those covers really rock!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I was really drawn to this cover as well. Kate Books, Crafts and Pretty Things
ReplyDeletehi, I love the third boo bookcover the most. its different, not the usual look. I also like the ancient looking cover of In the Beginning. matches the time period of the story line well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, Christine.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving we can get our stories out there via blogs like yours.
My gosh, you are one prolific author!
Best, Joanne.
We chose the same cover, for similar reasons http://michelle-abbott.weebly.com/
ReplyDeleteOne of the two covers I featured in my own March Book Frenzy post is the one for "She Belongs to Me", although I prefer the one for the paperback edition, which is different from the one you have here.
ReplyDeleteI do like this one, too. It's just that I prefer to read printed books, so I picked the PB cover. It has a nice combination of images, as well as a beautiful, blue-purple tone.
BTW, I've just discovered "The 13th Floor Collection", and have already added it to my Amazon PNR wish list, as well as to my Goodreads TBR shelves! Hope I can buy it soon!!
Enjoy the hop, and happy reading!! : )
