Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's your teaser:
I'm afeared that, in the end, the darkness will turn out to be stronger'n the red hot.
The moment I shut my eyes, it comes.
The darkness comes.
The darkness an the dreams. (page 156)
That gave me chills! Great teaser!

Weird. I need me some punctuation. My ADD just can't handle all of that hard work!
ReplyDeleteI love your teaser!
ReplyDeleteI actually like books written in that kind of (free)style--adding this one to my TBR list.
The Golden Eagle
The Eagle's Aerial Perspective
LOVED this teaser. You just boosted the book up in my TBR list! ^-^

Thanks all! Once you can get past the lack of punctuation, it's an awesome story. I'm awaiting the next one!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy teaser is from Switched
I see what you mean. That is a little hard to read, but hopefully the plot will keep you going.
ReplyDeletei have to tell you...i didn't appreciate this book until a week or two AFTER i finished it. i had a hard time with it at first but the story gets good (and it's easier to get what's going on if you read it out loud...). I'm looking forward to the second book!
ReplyDeleteMy niece is raving about this book. I think I'll need to borrow/take it from her when she's done!
ReplyDeleteChilling!
ReplyDeleteAnd I see what you mean about the spelling ;-)
