Saturday Snapshot - October 1

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce over at At Home With Books.
October is my favorite month of the year. I love the chill and colors of autumn.
What I love most is Halloween!
This is my son dressed up last year.
Yes, those are pirate socks!

  1. Oh how cute! It is that time of year again. I'm going to have to make a run to the store for costumes soon.

  2. He's so cute! Are you going to take him trick-or-treating this year or wait a little longer to take him?

  3. Alyce, I'm excited. I can't wait until he's big enough to choose his own costume. I love seeing what kids pick for themselves!

Cherie, I'll take him to a few houses on our street, but I don't know if he'll get into it or just want to go into people's houses! *LOL*

Alex, this year I have a cute hand-me-down bat costume that a friend sent me. I've already taught him to make a bat sound. E-E-E-E-E!

  4. Oh, I love seeing little ones dressed up for Halloween! Adorable...and that reminds me that I should get out the Halloween decorations. But I'll wait until tomorrow when my grandson comes over.

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

  8. And what a cute little devil he is! And your photo reminds me that I need to think about my costume for my friend's adult Halloween party...

I'm running late on posting this week...but I have a really good reason.

  12. It's much more fun when you can choose their costumes for them. I made so many costumes when my kids were little. Hope you enjoy it just as much this year.

  14. Hi Christine. This is wickedly cute and the first allusion I've seen to Halloween. We don't really do Halloween in Australia but it is interesting to see other parts of the world go mad for the day!

  15. I meant the first I've seen this year! Last year I challenged myself and wrote a halloween short story but I had to do a lot of research, lol. D
