Title: The Ghost (The 13th Floor series, #6)
Genre: paranormal romance
Release date: July 13th, 2013
Blurb:
Chiharo Black lives with six supernatural tenants in a haunted building's mysterious thirteenth floor. Of course, no one knows she's there except the cats. Being a ghost can be a bit frustrating and lonely, but it isn't as bad as her mother made it out to be.
Until another ghost intrudes on her territory. Jeremy Emerson wants revenge on the vampire that killed him and won't stop until he has it. To top it off, a nightmarish shade sneaks in and leeches the energy from the building's residents before setting its sights on Chiharo and the thirteenth floor. She can't decide which one is more frightening: the one wanting to eat her soul or the one who might win her heart.
Chiharo must convince Jeremy to stand with her against the hellish parasite. If they cannot work together, the greedy fiend will not only drain their energy but everything that supports the thirteenth floor's existence.
Add THE GHOST to read on Goodreads.
Thank you to all my wonderful hosts during my tour this week and to all of you who have followed along. One more book to go. I can't believe it! Don't forget about the BIG giveaway at M Pepper Langlinais' blog. You could be the first to own the entire 13th Floor series.
If you would like to be a part of THE GHOST blog tour in July, please send me an email. I will also be releasing the entire series in The 13th Floor collection in September, and I'll be doing another tour then as well.

Today is another spectacular blogfest about movies. I also love that it's quick and easy! A tremendous thank you to the fantastic hosts, Alex J. Cavanaugh, Livia Peterson, Al Diaz, and Stephen Tremp.
BEST MOVIE REMAKE: Casino Royale. Daniel Craig is my favorite Bond. Yes, even more so than Sean Connery. He's suave, dark, and dynamic. The Craig 2006 film is a remake of the 1967 film of the same name.
WORST MOVIE REMAKE: Godzilla. How could they do that to the classic 1954 film?! *gasps* And looking up the link, I see they're doing another remake to be released next year. NOOOOOO!
OMG, a ghost?! Awesome! I can't wait to learn more about Chiharo. :D
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the remakes you mentioned, or even the originals! *shame on me* But wow, a remake of a remake is in the works for Godzilla? That's a new level of unoriginal for Hollywood!
Holy crow! The next one already? I'm going to have to get reading :) Congratulations!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you there about Casino Royale but I haven't seen the 1954 Godzilla, so I can not compare!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much and how fast you're working these days! Love the cover for the Ghost, but my fav is the one with Kiral! ;)
they might do a better job with the next Godzilla remake. Maybe. It can't be worse...
ReplyDeleteTo me personally there is only ONE James Bond......Sean Connery. I was in my teens when the first Bond film was made . whoever else has played the part is not the same.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Last book looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd don't panic. The next Godzilla film is directed by Gareth Edwards, who directed Monsters. I think he'll do a good job with it. He certainly can't do worse!
Thanks for participating in our blogfest.
Your book sounds awesome! Love the cover. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read The Ghost! And you'll know I'll help out in July and September for the blog tours.
ReplyDeleteAnd I definitely agree with your best and worst movie remake choices.
This is a great book cover. I am looking forward to reading it.
ReplyDeleteMy son loves the Godzilla remake, which is unfortunate for me, because I don't want to watch it when he does.
ReplyDeleteYour cover looks great!
That is an awesome cover! I can't wait to read it.

Your new book sounds great! I'm with you on Godzilla. I can't believe they're going to make yet another remake!
ReplyDeleteCasino royale was so much fun! Congrats on finishing the final book in the series! I have slots open in July and would love to be part of your blog tour.

So Godzilla was terrible. I thought it was bad when I saw it be it seems many thought the same. We should only hope the next doesn't stink as much. Thanks for participating, Christine, and congratulations on your book!
ReplyDeleteCasino Royale was a good one...and Craig is my favorite Bond (sorry, Sean).
ReplyDeleteBut I gotta fess up to liking Godzilla...although I never thought of it as a remake.
That is an interesting distinction.
Are the recent Star Trek films, for example, remakes?
I think a remake works when there are enough new script elements that make it not simply an effort on reshooting the original film.
Thank you, everyone! I hope I can end off the series with a ghostly bang! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on The Ghost. I'll be posting the cover for you next Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteI like anything with many eating dinosaurs... usually... Jurassic Park 2 being the exception... So I hope for good new Godzilla.
I've seen your 13th Floor series around and have thought how neat it looks. This cover is no different.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices for the blogfest!

I like Daniel Craig too. I like a Bond that isn't too pretty boy. Seems more believable.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck on the tour. The books definitely intrigue me!
Congratulations on the book series/tour! I liked CASINO ROYALE best out of the three Craig/Bonds so far.
ReplyDeleteNice cover.
ReplyDeleteI just dropped in on the blogfest. I agree with both your picks.
And you're right. They need to leave Godzilla alone.
While I was not too fond of the real Bond 'Casino Royale' (I liked the comedy better, I'm with you 100% on Godzilla. How could they do that to such a cute, loveable guy.
ReplyDeleteThis 13th Floor series is great BTW. I'm only on the first book, but if their all this good, you've got a winner.
I agree with both your choices Christine. Hey congrats on finishing the series. Make sure you send me the next tour package for the last book. I am always happy to help!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your book. I don't know either of you movie picks.

Another Godzilla!!?? That just seems silly! Maybe they're hoping for better luck this time. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat said, I haven't seen the first remake, OR the original. Haven't seen the original of Royale either, but I think I saw the remake... I think...
Congrats on reaching your final story in the awesome series:) Can't wait to read it. And Godzilla really isn't a good movie at all.
ReplyDeleteSurely Godzilla couldn't get worse! Only seen clips of the older version, but the last one was pretty bad all round.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'll be there in July, September, and whenever else you need help! Such a great cover for The Ghost - did you add the ghostly aura yourself? Looks cool. :)
And hey: you chose wisely in my blog's best/worst contest, and you're invited to claim your prize: flowomiles AT hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the cover of the final part of your series!
ReplyDeleteAs for the movies ... I haven't seen the original Casino Royale (I didn't know there was an original!), but I really enjoyed the Daniel Craig one.
Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wished to say that I've truly enjoyed surfing around your blog posts. In any case I will be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again very soon!
