Birthdays always make me nervous. Another year over. More wrinkles and gray hair. This year is a big birthday for me too. I'm trying not to think about it, but it's near impossible. I'm not a party person. I don't like being the center of attention. But I like cake. I really, really like cake.
To help take my mind off off being one year closer to being as gray as Tawa, I'm going to have a giveaway. Nothing makes me feel better than giving people stuff!
On Friday October 5th, I'll be giving away a print copy of FEARLESS with an inscription to the winner.
No, no. That won't do.
I'll be giving away TWO signed copies of my paranormal romance novella. Oh yes! And I will happily send them anywhere in the world. All my friends overseas, you can enter this giveaway too!
Yes! That makes me happy. Cake and giveaways!
Ah, poor Tawa. It sucks to be a stuffed animal when there's cake around.
So you're an October birthday too! It seems October likes to produce creative types. And I'm with you on the whole party thing. I don't like being the center of attention either. That's one reason why I'm a writer instead of being an actor or something else along those lines.
ReplyDeleteAlso, great prizes!
This year is a milestone (maybe head stone) event for me too - and I'm not the least bit embarrassed my hair is more gray than brown :)
ReplyDeleteWe used to tease my daughter when she was little cuz she was the only blond (white blond at that) in the family. Dark haired dad, mom, aunts, brothers. Everyone.
One day she found a photo album at my mom's house and discovered - we were all blond as kids. Oh yeah, the scream of outrage was totally worth it.
Maybe you'll join the RFW birthday madness with your uncomfortable party story. You don't have to post on the 5th :)
I seriously need to get around to writing the review for Fearless. I enjoyed the book.

Giveaways are fabulous! I can't afford to do them as often as I'd like, but when I get the chance, I'm so excited about it.
ReplyDeleteSo does that make you a fellow Libran? I pretend my birthdays no longer exist.
ReplyDeleteAnd whoever doesn't love Fearless has really bad taste. Honest.
Happy Birthday! Yours is the same as my daughter's - October 5th! Now you have to come to my house and enjoy the chocolate party!
ReplyDeleteCHOCOLATE!!!

ReplyDeleteAnother October baby here. Mine is on the 9th! We can celebrate and eat cake together!
ReplyDeleteCake AND books? You are one generous writer! I'll bring the champagne or the tea or the cappuccinos. It's the least I can do.
