Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's your teaser:
Sleep with Seth Mortensen? Good grief. It was the most preposterous thing I'd ever heard. It was appalling. If I absorbed his life force, there was no telling how long it'd be until his next book came out. (page 25)
LOL This is great! You gotta love a succubus with a sense of snark.
ReplyDeleteI liked this story when I read it but I have the latest in the series on my TBR mountain and I just can't seem to get to it. I think the magic wore off for me.
ReplyDeleteI have a teaser from Winterling by Sarah Prinieas and from Magic Gifts by Ilona Andrews this week. Happy reading!
I like it! Thanks for sharing....
ReplyDeleteHere's MY TT POST and
MY WEBSITE
Melissa, I've read the second book in the series now. Good as the first! Georgina is a great I-don't-really-want-to-be succubus!
ReplyDeleteKathy, I know about the TBR mountain. I have one myself!
Laurel, I'll be popping over!
LOL! Great teaser! I've been wanting to read these books. *looks at Amazon Gift Cards from Christmas and ponders whether to buy or get from library*
ReplyDeleteVery cool teaser... sounds like a good read:)
ReplyDeleteIt's always amusing to read a character's opinion of a writer!
ReplyDeleteInteresting teaser. :)
Funny teaser. Maybe that's what happened to me during this year's NaNoWriMo. Maybe I can blame my failure on a succubus.
ReplyDeleteMy teaser is here: http://iousex.blogspot.com/2011/12/teaser-tuesday-dec-27.html
Cherie, you won't be disappointed. They're a fun read!
ReplyDeleteTania, I think you'd enjoy them too!
TGE, I like it when they do that too. The succubus in the book idolizes the author, so it's hilarious!
Sandy, I routinely blame my failures on succubi too!
LOL fab teaser, i see these books floating around/ mentioned a lot, maybe i should give them a go! Thanks for sharing & for stopping by my blog :-)
