1. If you missed it, I gave a call for blog tour hosts for my Dice & Debauchery series in the new year. I received such a terrific response! You guys rock. January is filled, but there are a few dates left in February and March if you'd really like to be a part of it. I would also like to thank those that sent me apologies because they couldn't host me because these are erotica books. I completely understand, and you're all so sweet to say you were sorry about it.
2. This week my son has been on fall break, so I haven't gotten any writing done. We've been having some fun. A picnic and time outside at one of the state parks, and building a space robot at the local children's museum. He's happy that I no longer have my cast and I can drive again!
3. Next week, the Twisted Earths anthology is coming out. My short story, "The Ole Saint" is a perfect creepy tale for this time of year. The Untethered Realms authors did a spectacular job with this collection. Each story is awesome. You still have time to pre-order the anthology and receive an ebook from any of the authors for free! Click HERE.
4. Will I do NaNoWriMo this year? I don't know. I'm waffling back and forth on it. Mm, waffles. I'm behind where I want to be with my writing because of my broken wrist, but it's so hard to resist doing NaNo. Maybe I could apply my revisions to it? I need to change my urban fantasy novel from 3rd person POV to 1st. Maybe I could do that in a month?
5. Finally, the Shelfie Blog Hop winners. This hop was so much fun! I love peeking at other people's bookshelves. Hey Christine! Wow, busy lady. Hope your wrist gets to full strength again soon, and congrats to all the winners. I completely missed the shelfie thing.
ReplyDeleteLove the sound of the UR anthology. I keep meaning to go and order it, then get swayed into another direction. I'm going after this, otherwise I'll get there. :)
I would love t do NaNo too, but I'm in a similar situation. I have to complete book two of The Supes Series, because I have an editor booked December. But I'm moving (country) in a few days too, so it's all in the air. I've been locked into finishing my horror short up till now, and packing of course.
Not enough hours int he day. :)
Have a great week Christine. X

Hi Christine - glad you've enjoyed your Fall break with the little one ...
ReplyDeleteLots happening to keep you busy .. cheers Hilary
Hi, Christine. You are one busy lady! So glad that the cast is finally off. Sounds like you and your son are enjoying his fall break from school. A fall picnic sounds like fun. Did you collect any leaves?
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm waffling about NaNoWriMo right now. MMMMM pecan waffles with whipped cream and chocolate syrup are sounding pretty good right now. : )
Have a great weekend!!
Glad you spent some time with your son.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Twisted Earths.
And thanks for hosting the blog hop - I was excited to win!
Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about NaNo. This is the first year I'm not doing it since 2009, and it makes me sad, even though I know it is for the best.
Good luck on your tour. Sorry I don't host erotica either but I'll visit your tour sites.
ReplyDeleteGlad the wrist is healing up.
Have a nice autumn weekend with your son!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFall is the BEST time for fun with your little boys. And the space robot project sounds perfect. Glad you got your cast off. Hey, yeah, why not do Nano? You don't necessarily have to "win" it...
ReplyDeleteI'm doing Nano. Happy to be a writing bud.
And wow, the anthology is finally launching!!!
Cows full of holes! Looks like you've got a lot on your plate. Glad you got a good response from the blog tour. Hopefully NaNo works out for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm also undecided as to whether I'll be doing NaNo this year.
ReplyDeleteThis time, I have a ton of work (5000 pairs of shoes' worth) and moving house (again). And preparing three books for publishing...
Glad you received such a terrific response for your blog tour! Sorry to hear you feel behind on writing, though. Good luck catching up, especially if you decide to do NaNo!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in, everyone!
ReplyDeleteShah, thank you for offering to host! There's definitely not enough hours in a day. No way.
Susanne, my little guy is more interested in running through the leaves than collecting them! :)
Catherine, good point about NaNo. I don't have to win, but even if it spurs me on to write a little, that's more than nothing.
Good luck, Misha!
Glad you had such a great response. I'm in the camp of I can't because of the erotica. It's hard for me to post that next to my middle grade books, but I know you understand.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. Enjoy.
Keep up the good work, Christine. Glad to have you aboard for Creepy Freebies with everything else you've got going on. I'll be sure to spam the Twitterverse during your blog tour.
ReplyDeleteHi Christine!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a full schedule! All the best!
put me on your calendar - i'm wide open!
ReplyDeletenano is a hmm for me too - yum waffles!
and thanks again for helping with the shelfie blog hop!
