Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's your teaser:
A haughty, lethal bodyguard. An assignment involving shadowy phantoms. This homecoming was starting to accrue a hefty price tag.
You still want to pay it? asked Horatio.
Absolutely. (page 61)
Don't forget to enter THE GHOST giveaway for a chance to win all of the books in my 13th Floor series!
Pay what???

Thank you for popping by, folks! I LOVED this book. It was so incredibly original and the god maneuvering was subtle. I can't wait for the next one in the series.
