Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's your teaser:
With perfect accuracy, my stone form hit the man hard - as I had intended - driving his body away from the woman, the sound of cracking running through him. So fragile, these creatures. (page 73)
Oh wow, this sounds different and interesting! Might check this one out actually! Thanks for sharing :) Hop on over if you have the time:

I haven't read a book about a gargoyle before, it sounds funny! Check out my TT @ This Is How It's Supposed To Be
ReplyDeleteoh interesting. I agree with the comment right about me! but there was a cartoon where the gargoyles came alive at night...what was that again? do you remember that? LOL
ReplyDeleteI remember it! It was called Gargoyles! Hehehe! They had names like Brooklyn and Bronx. The main guy was Goliath.
DeleteGreat teaser! I love the 'so fragile these creatures' line :)
ReplyDeleteI'm reading a mystery, The Last Matryoshka by Joyce Yarrow. 9% in ... "The man never had an unpleasant thought he didn't share. He had brought these troubles on himself, I was sure of that."
Thanks! It's a great urban fantasy. I do like Strout's Simon Canderous series much better. They're hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome! I love gargoyles too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my TT.
Alex Fest - Cheers!
