I'm talking about being a writer mom on
How she manages to write with four boys amazes me. I only have one and I'm lucky to find a few minutes to myself!
Come on over to Kyra Lennon's blog
to learn a little about the romance between the hero and heroine of The Marquis, Marc and Mae. Love is in the air!
Today's tidbit: I originally had a different name for my heroine. I was going to call her Innes. She refused the name, told me to sit down and listen instead of spending so much time on baby name sites. Her name was Mae, and though it looked a little too much like Marc, she refused to let me change it.
I see you everywhere. You have such great saturation. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll go hop over to the other blogs.
ReplyDeleteFunny how your characters just take over like that. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, guys! What a busy day!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny when characters refuse their names... I've had that happen to me too:)
ReplyDeleteI had a Byron and a Bassa - it happens!
ReplyDeleteThat's happened to me before, too. Congrats Christine! I have to add this to my library. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes characters insist :)
ReplyDeleteMy! You are busy. It's been fun seeing your blog tour pop up all over the place. Hope it's a success!
ReplyDeleteI had a character whom I tried to name Brigid, but she rebelled also and went with the more anglicized Bridget. Funny how that happens.
Seems like I'm not the only one that has demanding characters! Thank you, everyone, for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I have several characters who have been just as stubborn about their names. I don't think I'd be able to count exactly how many have demanded a name change, that's how often it's happened!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for guest posting on my blog! Loved your advice.
ReplyDeleteCharacters can be so finicky! :)
