Sidelined cover reveal

Title: Sidelined (Game On Book 3)
Author: Kyra Lennon
Genre: NA Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 31st 2014
Blurb:

At the age of twenty-one, Bree Collinson has more than she ever dreamed of. A handsome husband, a fancy house, and more shoes than Carrie Bradshaw and Imelda Marcos combined. But having everything handed to her isn’t the way Bree wants to live the rest of her life. When an idea to better herself pops into her head, she doesn’t expect her husband to question her, and keep her tied by her apron strings to the kitchen.

Isolated and unsure who to turn to, Bree finds herself falling back into a dangerous friendship, and developing feelings for the only person who really listens to her. Torn between her loyalty to her husband and her attraction to a man who has the perfect family she always wanted, she has some tough choices to make.

While Bree tries to figure out what she wants, a tragedy rocks the Westberg Warriors, triggering some dark memories, and pushing her to take a look at what’s really important.
Sidelined is the third book in Kyra Lennon’s Game On series. Game On (Book 1) and Blindsided (Book 2) are available on Amazon and Smashwords.

About the Author:
Kyra is a self-confessed book-a-holic, and has been since she first learned to read. When she's not reading, you'll usually find her hanging out in coffee shops with her trusty laptop and/or her friends, or girling it up at the nearest shopping mall. And occasionally hanging out with rock stars, because that’s how she rolls!

Kyra grew up on the South Coast of England and refuses to move away from the seaside which provides massive inspiration for her novels. Her debut novel, Game On (New Adult Contemporary Romance), was released in July 2012, and she scored her first Amazon Top 20 listing with her New Adult novella, If I Let You Go in November.
You can find Kyra at the following places:

Vote for The Harbinger, please!

I am honored to have one of my books chosen as a nominee in BigAl's Books & Pals (review site) Readers' Choice Awards in the fantasy category. They've chosen the fourth book in The 13th Floor series, THE HARBINGER. From all the reviews and emails I've gotten, this is by far the favorite of my readers' too.

In the twelve months ending February 28th, 2014, BigAl and the Pals will have received over 1,400 books to consider for review and published 368 book reviews. From those, they chose the books they felt stood out from the pack as exceptional examples of indie (self-published and small press) writing and divided them into thirteen categories.

Now here's where I need your help. To win, I need your votes. Voting starts today at 10:00 a.m. EST and goes through to the 12th. I'll be reminding you throughout the next ten days.

BigAl's Books & Pals is a huge supporter of indie authors. A great place to get your books reviewed. I'm eager to find out who all the nominees are.

Please go vote for THE HARBINGER.

Friday Five for February 28th, 2014

1. I did a happy dance on Wednesday after I unchained myself from my desk. I finished the 3rd draft of my superhero WIP. Woo-hoo! I sent it off to my CPs and betas. Then I celebrated with peanut butter cookies. On Monday, I will start revising WIP #1 again. I'm right on track with my writing goals so far this year.

2. It's been a tiring week. I've been babysitting every day. It only reminds me I no longer have the energy of my youth. I just wish the youths understood that!

3. My husband was sick on the weekend, and with stuffed up nose, he snores more than usual. So I spent two nights on the couch. I love my couch. It's amazingly comfy, but it always gives me weird dreams. One dream had 5 good versions of myself fighting 5 bad versions. Not clones. (I don't have access to Alex's cloning machine!) It was more like a spirit battle. It was unsettling. Thankfully when I'm sleeping in the bed, I only fight monsters and not myself, er, my selves.

4. I've been reading a lot lately, and I realized I have a favorite bookmark. Until recently, I didn't care what I marked my pages with. A lot of the time it was just a strip of paper ripped from a recycled scrap. Now I have to have a certain one. Do you have a favorite bookmark?

5. I got some BIG news this week: the 4th book in the 13th Floor series, THE HARBINGER, has been nominated for a BigAl's Books & Pals Readers' Choice Award in the category of Fantasy. I'm honored and excited. Voting starts on March 2nd and runs through to the 12th. Please consider voting for my book. I'll share my cookies with you!

Final day of The Harbinger blog tour

It's the final day of the blog tour already!
Thank you so much to all my wonderful hosts and to you, the readers. It's with your support that I've made it this far.

We have a phenomenal last day!
Read another intense excerpt from The Harbinger at
Tyrean Martinson's blog.

I share a list of 13 Greek mythological creatures with TF Walsh.
What's your favorite mythological being?
We're also holding a gigantic giveaway! You can win the first four ebooks of the 13th Floor series and an ARC of the fifth.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Today's tidbit: The Harbinger is the longest book in the series so far. I had to hold myself back from going on and on describing the modern day Olympus and its residents. It was so much fun imagining how the gods and their home evolved over the centuries.

Don't forget to join me tomorrow for the cover reveal of the fifth book in the 13th Floor series. I have a little surprise for you!

Tomorrow is also the third Monday of the month. Time for the March W4WS event. Woot!

Plus, it's Alex J. Cavanaugh's Top Ten Movie blogfest! Big day.

Day four of The Harbinger blog tour

What a fantastic tour so far! I'm having so much fun.
It's best to agree with me lest Hera turn you into a poodle.

Don't forget the first volume in the 13th Floor series, The Marquis is now FREE.
Amazon * Kobo * Smashwords

I have two great stops today.
Join me at Tonja Drecker's for an awesome excerpt from The Harbinger. Get hooked!

I'm chatting with my brilliant beta reader, Clare Dugmore about Greek myths and gods. Come find out what our favorite ones are!

Today's tidbit: There's one scene in the book that came out of nowhere. I had to stop writing and do a bunch of research to make sure I had all the details right. Then even after I wrote it, I wasn't sure I was going to keep it because I felt it was a bit over the top. Yet everyone loved it. I know sometimes I second guess myself and self doubt creeps in. Thankfully I have awesome CPs and beta readers, and they chase away the monsters for me. Or tell me they're perfect right there in the story!

Day three of The Harbinger blog tour

Have you bought your copy of The Harbinger yet?
Amazon * B&N * Kobo * Smashwords

I have two wonderful stops today.
Or rather, I have one appointment and Zeus has the other.

Summer Ross grills me with three important questions.
See what my writing space looks like!

Zeus receives a visit from Apenth who is a god from Cherie Reich's world in her amazing WIP, The Phoenix Prophetess. See what Zeus thinks of the incident with his harpy servant and his hero.

Today's tidbit: The Harbinger reveals a few crucial secrets about the 13th floor. There are a few things that my CPs didn't even catch until the second time around.

Day two of The Harbinger blog tour

Feeling more static electricity lately?
That's because Zeus is excited about this book.
I'm suppose to tell you how handsome and clever he is.

Which brings us to our first tour stop of the day!
I'll be talking about the Greek Gods as the villains (the immortal mafia!) in The Harbinger at Nick Wilford's blog.
Make sure you pick up a copy of the Overcoming Adversity anthology too. It's for a great cause and it's full of incredibly inspiring stories.

My second stop is with Heather Holden where I'll be talking about how I can up with Meira's character. How can you write a harpy that a modern woman can relate to?
Check out Heather's brilliant webcomic Echo Effect.
It's Greek myth inspired too!

Today's tidbit: I originally planned for Dionysus to play more of a role in the story, but Ares pushed his way into the spotlight. He's the aggressive type. Who knew?!

Day one of The Harbinger blog tour

The next sensational volume in the 13th Floor series is here!
The Harbinger is now available at
Kobo

I have a fantastic tour lined up. Interviews, guest posts, and a gigantic giveaway on the 17th!

To celebrate the release of my fourth book, the first book in the series The Marquis is now free on Kobo and Smashwords!

My first stop is with Kyra Lennon.
I talk about the romance between Meira and Sam. This couple more than any other in the series has been put through the ringer.

Krista J. McLaughlin sat down with me and asked some thought-provoking questions. Find out a dark secret about me!

Today's tidbit: When I wrote this story, it flowed fast and hard. This is strange considering Meira's story was the one I least gave any thought to until I wrote a tiny scene in The Dragonslayer where she makes an appearance. Then everything became clear after those few hundred words.

1304 - The Harbinger cover reveal

Title: 1304 - The Harbinger
(The 13th Floor series, #4)
Genre: paranormal romance
Release date: March 13, 2013

Blurb:
Meira Harper loves both her jobs: talking about beautiful shoes and fetching souls for Zeus. But the Thunder God threatens the harpy's loyalty to her job when she receives the call to bring the soul of gorgeous Sam Wright. Meira pleads with her boss to let him live. Zeus agrees, but Sam must fight for his life. If Sam can win three challenges, he can keep his soul.

The gods never play fairly, though, so Meira needs to find ways to help Sam with the challenges. She cannot outwardly cross her master, but she refuses to let the man she loves lose his soul. They haven't even had a chance to start a life together.

Sam's soul is on the line. Meira's will be too if she's caught, but that's a risk she's willing to take.

Isn't she lovely? She can rip your head off with her talons too.

If you're interested in hosting me for The Harbinger blog tour next month, please email me.

Please mark The Harbinger "to read" on Goodreads.

Friday Five for Feburary 8, 2013

1. What a week! I learned how to format ebooks. It was intimidating at first, but it's really not that horrible. Tedious, yes, but just like uploading your book to purchase sites, once you get a hang of it, it feels a lot easier. Thank you so much for your help, Cherie! (She's brilliant, you know!)

2. I loaded my newly formatted files of The Dragonslayer to the purchase sites. Everything looked beautiful. What a relief! Smashwords and Amazon already have theirs up. It feels good to have those done. I also have everything ready for the big blog tour next week from the 13th - 17th. Lots of fun posts and a big giveaway! Then The Harbinger cover reveal on the 18th.

3. I'm 25% done with the next book in the 13th Floor series. It's very different than the other books. The action is more verbal than physical. I hope to be halfway done by the end of the weekend and then finish the rest next week. Yes, I'm a fast writer, and I'm aiming for 20,000 words, give or take a few thousand.

4. My little guy is sick this week. Poor fellow. He made it through school yesterday, and when I arrived to pick him up, he threw up. Well, at least the teacher didn't have to deal with the ickiness. I'd feel bad if she did.

5. Don't forget the next W4WS event is on the 18th. We'll be featuring Melissa Bradley and Gwen Gardner this month. Sign up on the linky list and help out your fellow writers. It's fast and simple. A tweet, a RT, or share a link on Facebook.

Have a great weekend!
