You're never too old

I'm feeling all my years this month. All those doctors visits I've been having speak of my age and my son turns eight this week! Where is time going?

I just need to remember...

  1. I LOVE writing quotes! It's so true though. And it's amazing what makes us feel old. Like 10 years I felt a little behind with my writing journey, which is, of course, so ridiculous to me now. I love that quote from Elizabeth Gilbert. ^_^

  2. I am WAY older than you and sometimes wonder if I still have it in me to write. Love your inspiring quotes to keep me going.

  5. I hope age doesn't set too many limits to writing. Otherwise, I'm in deep trouble!

  6. Hi Christine - the main thing is we're all aging together ... sad but true - and we'll all carry on encouraging each other ... cheers and just enjoy your journey - Hilary

  8. Yeah. Seeing your kids get older makes you feel older. My oldest is 17 now! Where did the time go?

  9. Yes!!! Love this and needed it today. Thank you, Christine!
My girls are 19 and 16 and I miss when they were 7 and 4, so ... I get it.

  10. I struggle with this age thing, too. But what the heck, I can't turn the clock back, so do my best to ignore it.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my Guest Post (Alex’s site). It’s good to meet you.

  11. Your baby is turning 8, mine is turning 18!!! (Add wails and tears here!)

Love the quotes. I'm so glad there is no age limit because I get older every day!

  13. As someone who sees doctors on a regular basis, I know how "meh" all that can be. Sorry you've had to visit so many yourself lately!

  14. We're younger than we'll be tomorrow, so if age is something we feel might hold us back from what we want to do, now's the time to get started.

  15. I needed this post. I've been seriously feeling my age lately wondering what in the world I'm doing trying to publish a book so late in life.

  16. I also needed this post, especially since the birthdays seem to be coming faster than my chapters do. I wonder what it would have been like if I started writing earlier in my life.

  17. Haha, love the final one! I've seen a lot of people bust into writing at later ages. A local writer has made a name for himself with what he calls geezer lit. The main character solves crimes in his nursing home. So it is definitely never too late.
