The fantastic co-hosts for this month are: Eva Solar, Melanie Schulz, Lisa-Buie Collard, and Stephen Tremp!
I haven't had any time lately to worry about my insecurities. First there was my son's birthday and my mom's week-long visit. Then my husband got sick, and just as he felt a little better, I got rotten sick. Now our little guy is sick.
With all the activity and illnesses, I haven't had any time to write. But I did get a new editor with Ellora's Cave, and she sent me the edits for books two and three of the Dice & Debauchery series. Yay!
I hope you're all avoiding the spring sicknesses going around. Give me my insecurities over a sick little boy any day.
So sorry you've all been sick. Hope your mom's visit was fun. I write for my new job and sometimes feel insecure.
ReplyDeleteSickness is the worst, especially when it hits a little one! They are just so miserable and as a mom it's so hard not to be able to "do" anything. I hope everyone in your family feels better soon! Here's to next month being a better one!
ReplyDeleteOh, get that little guy better soon. My teenaged son was very sick a few weeks ago - first time in a long time & it brought flashbacks of younger years when it felt like there was always some blug floating around.
ReplyDeleteGreat news about a new editor!
Hope everyone feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteMy two besties have sickness their dealing with among coworkers and family, but they live over an hour away from me, so I'm knocking on wood that I'm safe.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had time to worry about insecurities either. Maybe that's the cure for insecurity? Staying busy and not thinking. ;) It seems everyone is in a writing funk. I haven't written in a long time either.
ReplyDeleteI hope your son gets better soon!
I hope you are all feeling much better soon. What a rough few weeks you've had!
ReplyDeleteWe've had the sniffles too, and my Hashimoto's is always something that stands in my way energy-wise. Boooo to sickness.
ReplyDeleteHope you all feel tip-top soon. And good luck with your edits! :)

I hope everyone is completely well soon!
ReplyDeleteYay! A new editor! Finally!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter got hit with something that left her tired for a few days last week, but other than that my family has been good. Knock on wood!
ReplyDeleteSucks that you've been sick. Hope you're well enough not to tackle the edits.
ReplyDeleteSorry your little guy is sick now! Hope everyone gets better and stays healthy!
ReplyDeleteSorry for you and your family. Being sick sucks. Hope all of you get better soon.
ReplyDeleteYay for new editors! I hope everyone starts feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm giving my insecurities a break too or rather they may have given me one. Too much going on like you. Good going on the edits!
ReplyDeleteSick kids are definitely the worst.n Aside from all the extra work it can mean, I tend to feel so bad for them. They usually have no idea what's happening to them and why they feel so rotten. AND, the expect Mommy to 'make it all better'. As a parent, you tend to feel completely helpless, when you can't wave a magic wand and make it all go away.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, I don't make it by here often enough, but at least I try to catch-up on IWSG day. Yea, for new editors and feedback!
Thank you, everyone! So far my son isn't so bad. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you are lucky or not... hehehe
ReplyDeleteHere's my link if you'd like to drop by :-)

There are definitely worse things than a little insecurity. I hope everyone is feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteHow rude of you not to plan that sick day, lol. Glad things are going so well otherwise :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I both had nasty coughs a few weeks ago. As usual, I had it for two days and his is still lingering. Hope you're all feeling better soon.
