Teaser Tuesday with Hourglass

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This book is one I thought I read, but I actually didn't. Luckily I picked it up again, because I'm really enjoying it. Hourglass is Myra McEntire's first novel. A YA paranormal romance that is original and sweet.

Your teaser:
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. "I almost cried at dinner the other night. Was that not vulnerable enough for you?" (page 121)

  1. It was vulnerable enough for me, it was! (With that short tease you can feel her angst.)

Love the cover, too, by the way.

  2. I have seen this book around a lot but haven't read it either. I am glad you are enjoying it. My teasers this week are from Not Quite Dating by Catherine Bybee and The Last Station Master by S.A.M. Posey. Happy reading!

  3. Yes, that's vulnerable enough for me!
Here's my Teaser Tuesdays post this week, from The Redhead Revealed by Alice Clayton. ;-)

  4. oh i want to read this. everytime i see it captures my attention! i need to remember to add it to my tbr pile!

  8. What a great teaser! This book has been on my to-read shelf forever!

    Thanks for stopping by TT!

  9. Thanks for stopping in! It was a fantastic book. :)

  10. I had to stare at that cover....it's hypnotic. Like an optical illusion!

  11. I like the teaser, Christine and the cover is very catching!

  12. Looks good... I've heard some good things about this book. Might have to check it out.
