Teaser Tuesday with Pegasus

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I love Robin McKinley's books. It's been a while since I've ready any of hers, or any fantasy (outside of urban fantasy!). I'm loving it so far. Sylvii and Ebon are spectacular characters. Of course, McKinley writes beautifully and has created a magnificent world to explore.
Here's your teaser:
(Sylvii asks a magician if he minds being short)

    I may get this one! The only book I didn't like by her was Deerskin. Too dark for me.

    I have to admit that I started this book but didn't finish it. I tend to like things a little more fast paced I guess. But loved The Blue Sword.
