The Joust, hosted by M. Pax
Designed to help promote fellow writers and creatives, the joust will have the internet cheering, “Huzzah,” at you for a week. It’s not as tough as it sounds. All you need do is direct your entourage to my blog to cheer for you during the event and sign up. The joust is limited to 10 knights. Sing up before it’s too late!

Stockade Brigade, hosted by Mary Waibel
Who is on trial for wizardry this year?
Selected authors shall be put in the stockades and brought on trial for word witchery/wizardry. Witnesses shall score points by testifying for or against the author’s crimes. Points will be scored by wordsmithing with their best Olde English afore 8 o’clock in the Eastern time. An ebook or giftcard will be given away every day to the witness who scores the most points. A bigger prize will be awarded at the end of the week. Warrants for their arrests have already been issued. The Sheriff of Realmsdom will catch up with them all soon.

Our 2013 Joust champion, Lady Elson, seeks wisdom from the creative realms to deepen the thoughts at her Not-so-deep Thoughts blog. Throughout the Faire, she asks subjects to share bit of wisdom they’ve gleaned from the creative arts. Each day features a different media—books, movies, music & Jester’s Choice. Beauteous prizes to be had.
