Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's your teaser:
(Sylvii asks a magician if he minds being short)
"I am a magician, not a princess. A pony costs less to keep than a horse, which means I can buy more books." (page 94)
Interesting.

Quite intriguing... hard to get the context, but I get a feel of humour in the voice:)
ReplyDeleteI may get this one! The only book I didn't like by her was Deerskin. Too dark for me.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I started this book but didn't finish it. I tend to like things a little more fast paced I guess. But loved The Blue Sword.
