    1. You can check Ralan for other anthologies and magazines that do take reprints. You're likely to find a bunch.

  3. It looks like a fun list. I sometimes wish I had time to write short stories for anthologies again, but right now I have too much other stuff to do. But I can't wait to read your steampunk cthulhu story!

    1. I was never big on writing short stories either. My muse thinks big! My love is writing novels, but writing short stories has taught me a lot about the craft.

  11. I write shorts but none in horror or steampunk...tried the poetry site but their demand of great poetry intimidates me. Thanks for sharing these links. :) Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Don't let them intimidate you. I bet you'll surprise yourself. :) As for short stories, you should try writing out of your genre. I've written all sorts of shorts. It's good for practicing the craft of writing at least.

  12. That's a great idea for inspiration. And thanks for sharing them. I hope to get a chance to write more short fiction...I was hoping this year. But I fear the novels may not let me do more than tend to them. Dastards! lol Have a great weekend, Christine and keep writing.

    1. Novels tend to do that! I'm in the revising stage, so my short stories get attention while I'm procrastinating about my revisions. You have a wonderful weekend too!

  13. You found some interesting calls, especially the Steampunk Cthulhu! Twisted genres are so much fun.
