I'm very happy with my word count. I want to write at least 2000 words a day. That will keep me ahead in case something happens. I'll also be missing four days at Thanksgiving when I visit my in-laws.
I've noticed that my inner editor has much more power than she did in previous years. It's hard to stop myself from editing as I go along. NaNo is about just letting the story flow. If I could have done that today, I would have written more.

Well done... I managed 1800 words today and like you that's because my inner editor kept going back up the page to read / correct things... going to lock her up somewhere :)

ReplyDeleteediting is a problem i didnt think of for nanowrimo. i have to go back and read, especially when i forget some of what i wrote, "now didnt he already say that?"
